AHS PTO Event Guidelines 2026–2027

Dress Code Standards

Enforcement: Applies to all students and guests. Strictly enforced—no entry and no refunds for non-compliance.
General Rule: Attire must be modest, appropriate, and properly fitted. Students are responsible for seeking administrative approval before the event if they are unsure about an outfit.
Men: No bandanas, baseball caps, or flip-flops.
Women:
- Allowed: Spaghetti straps and strapless dresses are permitted.
- Prohibited: Cleavage (necklines must be modest), exposed undergarments, cut-outs, or any exposure of the midriff, abdomen, or navel.
- Length: Hems and slits must be below the fingertips when arms are held straight at your sides.
- Alterations: Any pinned or sewn adjustments must remain securely in place throughout the entire event.
Financial Support: We believe dances should be accessible to everyone. Please contact a PTO representative if you need support with clothing or ticket costs.

General Event Rules

Departure Safety: Students must leave off-site events using the same transportation method they used to arrive, unless the PTO has received an email or text from a parent before the event starts.
No Re-entry: Once a student leaves an off-site event, they may not re-enter.
